Dear colleagues and guests,

On behalf of the Canadian Society for Bioengineering/ La Société Canadienne de Génie Agroalimentaire et de Bioingénierie and the local organizing committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the CSBE/SCGAB 2022 AGM in Charlottetown. Charlottetown is the capital city of Prince Edward Island. The Province House National Historic Site hosted the Charlottetown Conference of 1864, spurring Canada’s birth. PEI’s pristine waters and beaches produce some of the planet’s finest seafood such as lobster. Easy access, excellence hotels, and top-notch cuisine are just a few of the many attributes that will make the Charlottetown experience unforgettable for you.

The theme for this year is “Agricultural Sustainability and Food Security through Precision Agriculture Technologies”. It is believed that precision agriculture technologies aided with artificial intelligence can innovate ways for food security and quality.

Please mark in your calendars the dates for the CSBE/SCGAB AGM being held from July 24-27, 2022 in Charlottetown, so that you may join your colleagues in what we hope will be a terrific meeting.
