Israel Dunmade, Associate professor at Mount Royal University, Calgary, AB teaches Management of Residuals, Lifecycle Assessment, and Environmentally Sustainable & Healthy Society courses. His current research is focused on the circular economy, environmental and social lifecycle assessment of agri-industrial materials, and application of sustainable production principles in the biomass conversion to bioenergy, biofuels and value-added commodities.
He will be one of the keynote speakers at the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Material Processing and Manufacturing at Sun City, Northwest, South Africa, March 7-10, 2019. Israel recently won a Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship to work with Professors Esther Akinlabi, University of Johannesburg and Michael Daramola, University of Witwatersrand to develop a lifecycle assessment database for South Africa in Summer 2019.
