Dear Colleagues,

I hope you are all doing well!

Although winter has just started, we are already preparing for next summer. The local organizing committee for our 2023 Annual General Meeting in Lethbridge, Alberta has been working hard to organize an excellent AGM this upcoming summer. Lethbridge is at the center of Canada's premier food corridor, and the region has 4.2M acres of farmland and 1.3M acres of irrigated land, along with the presence of several global food companies. Please mark the 2023 AGM in your calendars and we look forward to seeing you in Lethbridge!

As always, if any of you have any issues, ideas, etc., or any interesting information related to the ag/bio engineering profession that you would like to bring to the attention of the CSBE council, please do let me know. I also hope that many of you will use our newsletter to share news, ideas, etc., with CSBE members.

Bien que l'hiver viens juste de commencer, nous nous préparons déjà pour l'été prochain. Le comité d'organisation local de notre assemblée générale annuelle de 2023 à Lethbridge, en Alberta, travaille dur pour organiser une excellente AGA l'été prochain. Lethbridge est au centre du premier corridor alimentaire du Canada, et la région compte 4,2 millions d'acres de terres agricoles et 1,3 million d'acres de terres irriguées, ainsi que la présence de plusieurs entreprises alimentaires mondiales. Veuillez inscrire l'AGA 2023 dans vos calendriers et nous avons hâte de vous voir à Lethbridge !

Comme toujours, si l'un d'entre vous a des problèmes, des idées, etc., ou des informations intéressantes liées à la profession d'ingénieur ag/bio qu'il aimerait porter à l'attention du conseil de la SCGAB, n'hésitez pas à me le faire savoir. J'espère également que beaucoup d'entre vous utiliseront notre bulletin pour partager des nouvelles, des idées, etc. avec les membres de la SCGAB.
