On behalf of the Canadian Society for Bioengineering and the local organizing committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Vancouver for the CSBE 2019 AGM. The theme for this year is “biosystems for clean technology and low carbon economy”. The global economy is moving toward a greener future and Canada is working to keep pace. The commercialization of low-carbon solutions, including clean energy technologies, can catalyze an important emerging market and support the transformation of the global energy sector.

The members of the local organizing committee are very proud to be hosting the next the CSBE AGM and look forward to welcoming you to our city. Vancouver is an amazing place to visit.
